Okay thank you. I just didn't want them to start crowding each other. It has already started to get rather close to my cactus (it is a ferocactus). I only started with my little plant garden a few months ago. I guess I'm going to need some more pots and some soil :)

I don't know if it's alright to propagate my aloe nobilis yet or not. Or even how to to it right . Im worried that it's going to start crowding my other plants soon. Can anyone give me a little help?

Pure water is fine. Start feeding after it potted with decent roots formed.

Hi Heidi & Welcome, I don't know how to answer that question. Perhaps others who grow this plant could a speak to it, but I see you're trying to save it, so given that, sure, I'd try to propagate it to save it too. It is pretty cool you've kept it alive for a year w/ so little info, very true. But I do know pebble trays, so I'll address that. Unfortunately, yours won't work, given how it's set up. Does that pot have a hole? Does that saucer come off? I ask as the saucer is interfering w/ any good that might come from using the pebble tray, tho' it is a lovely pot. Pebble trays work by allowing the soil to draw up some moisture as needed from the water around the pebbles below. But in order for that to work, there must be drainage holes in the pot & nothing coming btwn the pot & the pebbles in water. I collect plants called Hoyas & have all of mine on pebble trays. How I use them is I water to excess so it overflows SOMEWHAT on to the pebbles. Pls allow only enough water so it doesn't come into contact w/ the pot. Then the pot sits ON TOP OF, NOT IN THE WATER which contains the pebbles.
