Comments (7)Thanks flora_uk. From memory I think I may have been told it was a honeysuckle in the past. I am no natural gardener but have taken it up recently so yes, the plants will probbaly be very sickly! At least until I get the hang of things! Thank you, we live outside Halifax, West Yorkshire. Where are you? The honeysuckle is planted in two pots on one side of the shed, both the same type as far as I can see. Will keep an eye on them to be sure and to finally identify them. Will prune them in autumn, now I know thats when it needs done!! Around the corner on the other side of the shed is a plant that I have queried in the clematis forum but people there are telling me that it is a Parthenocissus. It used to flower though, a pink flower which Parthenocissus doesnt seem to do, so Im not sure. Do you know the name of this clematis in this pic as I noticed a neighbour has it and its kind of similar. My 'clematis' leaves dont go red as the Parthenocissus is supposed to do so I am at a loss at the moment. The fun of gardening! I am enjoying it actually! Thanks for your help. Comments (7)I agree with some IDs given, but I'll tweak some of them. Good job on the lot so far, Brandon, Karen & Hong!! Nice gift to receive, Fluffy Clou(d). =) 1. Portulacaria afra f. variegata 2. Portulacaria afra 3. Crassula ovata 4. Aeonium (possibly A. arboreum) 5. Senecio kleiniiformis 6. either Sedum rubrotinctum (etiolated) or if very small, Sedum album (etiolated) 7. possibly xGraptosedum? Whatever it is, it has a virus or some other ailment (deformed leaf growth). I'd check for insects in the crevices. I'd quarantine it & let it grow out, if it's going to. 8. maybe xGraptosedum 'California Sunset' 9. Sedum burrito (Burro's Tail is another Sedum) Echeveria (wait till it grows some/changes color & post again) Does the inflorescence have any buds/blooms on it? Would be great to see, if so. Looks like an xPachy-something or an xGrapto-something Kalanchoe blossfeldiana (leaf size is variable-from very small to very large). If it blooms, come back & show us a pix, please. Great haul!! Comments (3)Nice. A free neomarica caerulea. Your iris will make new irises is you let the flowers touch the soil. They are called 'walking irises' or 'apostle plant' sometimes. The flowers get heavy and fall to the ground, then they send out roots. Once they are established, you can cut the rooted plant off of the parent and you have a perfect copy.
