My old Boxer having siezures - I don't know what to do
Comments (46)I have an 8 year old Boxer, Millie, that had her first seizure just over a year ago. It was long and violent and tortuous to watch lasting well over 3 minutes. I immediately took her to the vet and he started her on Phenobarbital and Valium. She had several more smaller ones until the levels were where they needed to be. In the year since she's had dozens, some worse than others, and we've added Potassium Bromide to the mix. She continues to have small focal seizures lasting a few seconds almost daily. She was hospitalized last month with Pancreatitis. While there she had one larger and one smaller seizure. Since she's come home she seems to be deteriorating. She sleeps most of the days away. She has difficulty walking, stumbles or falls when she stands still for more than a few seconds, bumps into things and has fallen down the stairs. She seems to be losing control or strength in her hind legs. Last night she fell asleep at my feet and then couldn't stand or walk for a couple of minutes when she woke. This morning, on the other hand, she came as close to running as she has in a while to go outside and potty and play for a moment. It was brief. She's eating well, looks and sounds a good as ever which makes it that much harder to wonder "How much is enough for her?" I guess that's what I'm looking for, advice on "enough". She is our absolute favorite person in the world and is loved beyond measure. As terrified as I am about her leaving us, I am more afraid that she's suffering as she is. I've never had to even consider this for a pet so I'm lost to the rationale of it. How do you know when they've had enough?...See MoreOh my do I or don't I

Comments (11)Pillows are on the agenda too. I wanted to add some colour with the pillows thought I should get the wall squared away before I did so I could use to pull room together. My apartment before this house had rich colour but I felt like it was all dated when I got here, so I got the lighter longer curtains and wanted to stay somewhat neutral with the rug. Mounting the tv and stand would look much better but there won't be any colour from the picture ....that leaves walls and pillows...See MoreHELP! Comments (15)Check out Zillow.com to see the condos that were listed. Make a list of the ones that sold, for sale, & have not sold. Check out the photos of the interiors. Copy what worked locally. I would paint all rooms white. Any walls that are already white touch up any scratches from wear & tear. If the walls have too much wear & tear a fresh paint job suggested. There's a reason new builds usually use white paint, because it appeals to the masses. Usually when a renter moves, the property management will do a fresh paint job to attract new tenants fast. The goal is to get the condo to look as new as possible. The usual protocol before listing a home for sale good clean bright lighting A fresh paint of white where needed. During the 1st open house, get feedback from all visitors what they like or don't. Fix fast anything that several people noted. If you had a lot of foot traffic it's priced right. If hardly no one came, it's usually priced too high. You may get an offer right after the open house. That's quite normal in this current market. Be ready to fix some things relevant on a home inspection sheet. Reasonably compromise to find a win/win between the seller & buyer. Copy what worked for your neighborhood...See Morechispa
