Grass-like with white stripe and bulb at bottom?

Any ideas as to what this might be? New house, they're popping up all over.. Not sure if it's a weed or perennial of some sort? Thanks!

Could be Ornithogalum Umbellatum. There are also a few Crocus hybrids/cultivars with foliage to match, though their leaves tend to be more upright than sprawling.... I lean more toward Star of Bethlehem, but you may end up having to wait until the plants bloom for definitive ID.

Chris, sans can self-fertilize, I think most of the seeds I've had were produced that way. To help this along I've read you can jostle the stalk in many ways, one account even said they put their electric toothbrush against the flower stalk. I have another couple of sans in bloom now, one is another parva. Good weather here, 80s days and 60s nights. The threat of cold is over, maybe some cooler days in next couple of weeks. Russ

Can't tell from your pics, but are the flowers held on stems with a triangular cross section? Onion weed or Three cornered garlic (Allium triquetrum) is a very common weed in Australia and New Zealand. Eradicate by smothering clumps with multiple layers of paper/cardboard/etc. Also if it is A.triquetrum, you could dig and eat as a mild garlic. Fof

Ornithogalum umbellatum. The bulbs don't resemble Crocus corms. The texture and habit of the foliage aren't quite right either. And a clump of Crocus leaves that mature would probably be in bloom now, or even finished..

I agree with fizgig and floral. IME, this is a pretty vigorous spreader in gardens, lawns, etc, so if you don't like it start removing it now while the foliage marks its location.
