Help identifying table manufacturer/era

I posted this question in the Home Decorating forum, but thought I'd try here, as well.

I found a pair of these cute brass tables at my local consignment shop. They are about 22" square, with beveled glass tops and bottom shelves. I've been trying to find the manufacturer (see if they are a good buy), but haven't had any luck. I've performed a reverse image search, but it just takes me back to the listing at the consignment store. Anyone want to take a crack at identifying this table?

I have a LaBarge oval coffee table with legs that look exactly like that. I'm not home or I would take a picture and show you.

Research those casters. Those are old style with metal wheels. Admitdely, these could have been installed after the table was made, but these seem to be original pieces. The level of quality may be indicated by the wheel bearing. If the wheel has no bearing other than its own plain sleeve and some lub, it could be old or a newer wheel of low cost manufacture. If the wheel contains a low friction ball bearing, it would be a quality and higher cost item. Old casters with cast wheels had nothing special for bearings, just the rivet pin and some lubricant. Those wheels could have been made by casting or machined from solid rods. If machined, the metal could be brass, bronze, or steel. These wheels can be formed by forging, but that is expensive and overkill for this application. The trunion fork is not a sheet metal stamping. It appears to be a casting. I don't recall seeing casters made like these after 1940. By 1960, caster wheels were becoming molded plastic with larger diameters. Those old casters took a beating when the floor was cleaned, especially if the floor was wet mopped. Mop water invaded the plain bearing and later resulted in a 'squeaky' wheel having a lot of friction. Floor mopping and spills were primary sources of corrosion in the bearing.

@lindac, thank you!! Yes, once upon a time our family was large enough to take up that table and more. ;) I know that's one reason my mom wants to keep and restore it. I will look for someone to create leaves with an apron. I never have it without at least one leaf in it anyway. And, I am hoping to use it fully extended in our next home.

Thank you for your response. I had never heard of "Rooms to Go" since we do not have a store in our area. I did look on their website and was surprised since this particular piece didn't seem to fit in with what I was seeing on their website. She did say the table was very inexpensive. I still think it's very pretty with all the detail around the edges.

What do you care who made them? If they look good to you and the price is right....the maker has no importance.

Thanks for weighing in, lindac92. Well, I'd like to know that I'm not overpaying. Someone in another forum suggested that she sold a pair of these at a yard sale for $15, FAR less than what I'm considering paying. I'd like to know that I'm getting a good piece at a good price and that is important to me.

Lots of people sell things for way under the money....because someone sold something for cheap...doesn't mean you will always find such a buy> Again....if you like them...go for it. You can see and touch them....much better than buying from a web site.
And....ask the seller fi she can do better.
In truth your friend who sold them for $15 was not really considering what she might have sold for.
Don't doubt your own judgement....If you like them, they fit where you want to put them and, if you didn't know your friend sold some similar for $15, the price is right....go for it.
Perhaps your friend's tables weren't beveled glass? perhaps brass plated ?
