I was thinking of you Moni when I saw the sale. That trip sounds fantastic! I know you will have a wonderful fun time especially getting together with your sister. One of my sisters and my adult niece came and met us last year at the beach on our vacation and stayed several days with us, those are lifetime rocking chair memories! Ok the part where my sister and I nearly drowned when we stepped in a drop of in the water maybe not lol

For some reason I can't get a size or color to click on. Just won't take it. I signed in. I really wanted to order another Arizona pair.

Lily -- first you have to click on the photo of the Arizona style. Then, when that comes up, you first have to choose the style -- Unisex, Men's, or Women's. After you have selected the style, you then have to choose the size. Once you have chosen the size, you can then choose the color.

There aren't many options left for the Arizona, though.

I think they may be sold out. I signed in, clicked on Arizona, clicked on womens, and then tried to click on 36 and basalt, but nothing happens. Bummer!

Lily, the size 36 is grayed out, both in Women's and in Unisex. Sizes 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41 are available in Women's but I didn't check which colors in each size.

Size 36 is the only size that's not available in Unisex.

Thanks for the heads up , Lindsey. I didn't see the grayed out print...duh. All colors are gone except some obscure one. Plus all my other ones are 36, and they fit perfectly. I'd hate to try 37. Oh well.

Lily, you might want to try on a pair of Birkenstocks in size 37 the next time you're in a store that sells them, just to see how they fit. There is so little difference between one size and the next (it's actually 1/4 of an inch) that you might be willing to wear a size 37 to get the style and color you want.

By the way, the main Woot offerings in each category (Woot, Home, Electronics, Kids, etc.) is only available from 12:00 a.m. (Central) each day until 12:00 a.m. (Central) the following day. The other offerings have varying ending days, but they always show what the ending day/time will be.

Yes a Woot deal often is just a one day special unless stated otherwise. I posted it right when it started or close to. I try to check Woot each night if I am still awake.

Thanks to both of you. I never heard of Woot but appreciate the post. I do love Birkenstocks and wear them constantly except in the real cold months. I like Arizona the best , although I have one pair with three straps, and one with a heel strap which I like less.

Many of the Woot "deals" aren't that great, but many of them are really good. And every so often they have "Woot-Offs" which is where a product is "up" until it sells out then another product is immediately put up until it sells out and is replaced by yet another product, etc., etc. You never know how many of each product is available, so sometimes it sells out extremely quickly, and other times it takes hours and hours...

They also have a limit (usually 3) on the number of each item that you can buy, but the good thing is that the shipping is only $5, no matter what you buy, how heavy it is, or how many you buy.

An example of what I thought was a good Woot offer/purchase --- my iPad Air came with a 1-meter (a bit over 3 feet) Lightning cable. I wanted a 2-meter (slightly over 6.5 feet) cable, which is $29 when purchased directly from Apple. From time to time Woot has them, and they are $15.99 for a two-pack of the 2-meter cables, and sometimes they have 3-packs for $23.99 (they both work out to $7.99 per cable). I've also purchased additional Apple 12W USB power adapters ($19 from Apple) for $8.99 from Woot. Oh, there was the Apple EarPods with remote and mic ($29 from Apple) that Woot had for $22.99 for a two-pack. Yes, they are brand new, genuine Apple EarPods, cables and power adapters.

I find Monoprice.com is a good place to find cables of all types, whether lightning, HDMI, or anything else. Their 6 ft lightning cable is $7. They have HDMI cables, the kind you find in stores for $25 and up, for under $10 and some at $5.

Amazon also offers low everyday prices on a variety of cables. As long as the cable is properly made, the devices that connect to it have no idea what's there. Power adaptors (the wall warts) are also generic, any one with a USB socket will charge anything plugged into it. Devices with the same output rating are the same, and minor variations don't much matter.

Snidely, Woot is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon (and has been for a few years now).

Yes, I saw that when i went to the site. Besides letting others know that a wire is a wire, my comment was to share the thought that there's no need to wait for one site's sale when two others had everyday prices that were similar or better.
