Hi there, We haven't done it yet, but I still want to. I actually found a neighborhood near here (tipped off by my neighbor who's been thinking of doing this for ten years but has yet to pull the trigger) where there are tons and tons of houses like ours, most painted a single color. They look great. And it's in a very fancy area, which I think explains the greater prevalence of doing this than my specific neighborhood, which is nice but not ritzy (since painting the brick adds a lot of $$). I took pictures of some of these houses, which I'm happy to post. I think it's important though to hire a really really good painter, and to shell out the extra $ for good paint. I've seen some crappy jobs and it's not worth it.

What color is your door going to be? Also are you doing stark white windows? BTW: In the elevation drawing I agree with you that horizontal looks better. The problem is it's hard to match a red brick color.

SW Greek Villa (trim?) and SW Tree Branch. I don't want my siding to be too dark and am afraid to not have enough contrast if one color is too light to go with Greek Villa for trim. It is crunch time since the siding will be complete within the next 2 weeks. Thank you for your help! Looks like you have the program that allows you to paint the color on the siding. That is a big help! :=)

thanks! grey-greens now that's an idea, I will look into it! nothing is really finished yet but I'll try and post a good shot of the kitchen and bathroom soon. the pink bathroom was definitely what clinched the place for me!
