A Funny From Granddaughter

Friday was Alyssa's Valentine's Day party. Later I saw her and she was telling me about it. She got up close and said! Grandma, Mattie gave me Red 40! But I ate it anyway! I guess she has an idea that red 40 might not be the best choice to have in your foods. It is in so many things. Do you have a funny from a little one?

As they say....Out of the mouths of babes! LOL

My grandkids call me Mia. When Taylor was about 3, we were checking

out at Walmart. The cashier said something refering to me as Taylors Mama. Taylor told her I wasn't her Mama, I was her Mia. And I loved her and I wiped her poopie butt!

About six months ago 3 year old granddaughter was was working out genders, likenesses and differences etc. She came up to me and asked if I had a boy part like her daddy and brother using the correct anatomical term. I said no that I had a (correct anatomical term) like she did because I was a girl like her. She put her hands on her hips and said. "You are not a girl!" I replied that indeed I was and she retorted, you CAN"T be a girl, you're a grandma."
