Kobe or Faber built-in range hood

Which would you go for?

1) Kobe INX2630SQB-700-2

http://www.koberangehoods.com/product/inx26-sqb-700/

2) Faber INPL3619SS (they also have a 22" depth model) with 600cfm blower

http://www.faberonline.com/incaproplus.html

I've been limiting myself with models that work with a 6" duct. Builder wants $600 to change to 8" (won't be easy to do after since its a townhouse and piping not going straight outside.)

Any recommendations on these or other built-in inserts that will work with 6" ducts? Should I just bite the bullet and do the 8" duct to get more options?

I do searing of meats on cast iron and would like most if not all the smell to be out of the house. Planning to get a 30" BS gas range.

Thanks!
