My 'Lucky Bamboo' isn't so lucky.

As you can see my 5 year old 'lucky bamboo' (at least that's what I think it's called) is getting very light new leaves (almost white at the bases). I bought the plant in water and decided to repot it in soil a couple years ago. After doing so, it grew very fast and happily until about 6 months ago. Concerned that it was getting too much light I decided to move it to a spot with less direct sunlight. Does this appear to be the issue? Another concern is that it's not producing enough chlorophyll due to a nutrient deficiency. Any and all help would be very much appreciated, I can't lose my very first plant!

Also, I noticed this spot on the tallest leaf. Does anyone know what this could be caused by? Of course I thought too much sun. I'm hoping its nothing worse!!
