Comments (4)If you haven't already, I suggest posting this on the "Discussions" side of Kitchens. This is the "Gallery" side that's more for finished kitchens and the like. The Discussions side of Kitchens is for on-topic discussions concerning kitchen remodels. You will most likely get many more responses over there. Comments (268)I find it interesting that in an earlier comment it was mentioned that the slabs are stored outside. However immediately below is an answer from QM about whether their quartz can be used outside. I don't believe 93% quartz and 7% resin is the amount used in Breton technology. When I spoke to another company which makes quartz in China, I was told that they use the Samsung method and that it is not heated to the high degree that the Breton technology uses. I chose not to purchase the quartz made in China. Can Quartz Master be used outdoors? Please note that outdoor use of our products is not covered by our Lifetime Warranty. Quartz Master’s products have not been tested under prolonged exposure to UV rays. Unfortunately, installing our products outdoors will render our Lifetime Warranty null and void....See MoreQuartz closest to carrera marble?
Comments (302)Anyone who has put the Calacatta Vicenza, any regrets? I’m leaning towards that for my kitchen but I want my counter tops to be mostly white with just little specks of gray here and there. In some pictures I find Kitchens who have huge chunks of gray and very busy. Any opinions? I was also thinking about cashmere Carrara? Any help is appreciated...See MoreMy Reveal!!!
Comments (94)I think my kitchen’s huge size contributed to that feeling but i think that styling can definitely help (adding in wood elements on the counters or baskets or things with texture). I also think brass helps. I love my pendants and wonder if I had done brass hardware if that would have been a good idea for adding more warmth or if it would have been too much brass and too trendy. Definitely backsplash could change things up too. I hesitated to use real marble in the backsplash worrying that it would make the quartz look too fake. But I have since seen many people pair marble with quartz and i think it looks great. I think using smaller scale marble pieces can help also. Part of what made it feel stark was just getting used to it being white too since it used to all be dark. Good luck!...See MoreRelated Professionals
