Does anyone have leathered Super White?

We want to put this on our Island but I can't find any information on leathered white stone. Our fabricator said they won't seal it (apparently the leathering process does that) and if I do it will change the color? I don't mind etching but I REALLY don't want it to stain. HELP!

I just ordered the same thing for my bath vanity and I was told there was no need to seal it.

Thanks! Did you do any testing on it yourself? I thought about asking for a sample.

Leathered Absolute Black or Polished Super White for my kitchen?

Super White is a beautiful stone, but it is a delicate stone. It scratches easy and can etch from food and drink spills. Absolute black can be a nightmare. Many AB's contain calcium and will etch like marble. Some AB's are doctored with dyes, If you're stone is either one of these you will hate it. Honed AB can do the same and also finger print badly. Buying AB can be a crap shoot. We only sell AB and SW stones with disclaimers attached. Please thoroughly test pieces of the actual slabs before you buy. Samples may pass your test, but your actual slabs may not.

TB151 posted some slabs the other day. The post is three or four pages down. It's called something like went for templating and walked out with super wite. Do a shout out to him/her.
