"Dirty Grandpa"

Has anyone else seen this movie? Or, will admit to it, lol! I went on Sunday thinking it would be good since Robert DiNero was in it and it was listed as a comedy. What I didn't see was that it was R rated and any reviews of it. Well, I am no prude but it was an immature, raunchy, "f-bomb" filled waste of good money and time. There were funny moments but overall not so much. My recommendation is to stay home and save your money.

I haven't heard one good thing about it. Filthy and crude. I love Robert DeNiro; we really liked The Intern, but this movie is way below him.

We may see "The Intern"... The movie you saw is pretty typical of the junk he's been in of late. Or, wait...am I confusing De Niro with Al Pacino?

I have seen DiNero in others, relatively recently, where he was an endearing grandfatherly figure.......not this one!

Been many a year since we had lunch, at The Summit, B'ham, and we had a great time visiting, before you headed to Fl. Hope you are doing well!

It sure has been. Fond memory! I'm well, thanks, and it looks like you are still enjoying lunch with friends. Been cruising lately?

The name is enough to keep me away!

Yes, you can tell by the title alone it is a low brow stinker. And I've seen the trailer, too.

Nice to hear from you, jae ... and to hear that things are going well with you.

Come back to fill us in on more of the details, please.

Thanks Joyful. No more details from me! That's a road I won't go down, lol. You can google the reviews if you really want more....

Why, oh way, does DiNero sink to doing this dreck? For the money? To stay relevant amongst the young kids these days?

Glad to read The Intern was OK. I might rent that.

IMHO it's a sincere lack of writing talent when you cannot present a script without the F-bomb in every other line.

Sorry to hear is was so bad. However, let me offer you this.

I just saw The Intern with Dinero... it is a wonderful movie. I am not a Dinero fan. He plays a retired business man to decides to take an senior internship in a start up company. He ultimately lends his experience to help the young female CEO. I really loved the way that he was so subtle in lending his support and yet still showing the CEO respect for her accomplishments. If business were actually this charming, it would be wonderful.
