Comments (7)My Dear Nativemel This is not so bad, Have you ever had a baby? If yes, than you will understand quicker. First, The soil needs to be uniformly moist. This means, when you stick your finger into the soil, you should feel some dampness, As in do i or do i not change the diaper. The rose bush will want to be fed. Regularly. As in it's 3AM and the baby is screeming, or the leaves are not as bright green as they used to be, and there are no buds. The rose bush will not want ANY competition. As in we are at the playground, and screams are-- mine,mine,mine... The rose bush will want to be groomed regularly, As in We need a haircut, and therefore the barber has to take a valium. or, you need to invest in elbow lenght gloves. Then there is the open bud, The spectacular color, The fragrance, The singing in your heart,,, As in WOW i raised a genious, Einstein --move over, This unique child is MINE. and the singing in your heart,,,, You will forget the thorne. the heavy bags of cow manure, the (dare i say) sweat running down your aching brow, This is a magnificient creation, I worked for it, I will just sit here for a minute and savour the feeling of utter contentment. Now if it does not work this time, no problem, just start from the begining. Oh dear, Perhaps only with the roses. Wishing you luck, from the depth of my black fingernails, Irene...See MoreHelp - I don't want a patchwork floor
Comments (16)Aggietexan, Which engineered BR-111 did you go with (the Triangulo 3.25" wide or the Triangulo 5" wide or just the plain Engineered with less wear layer and which width?)? Any pictures? I had been wanting the Amendoim but then was in a store with a floor with so many knots that I got scared. I like color variation. What colors do you see? How does the grain compare to American Oak. From my samples the grain varies and I like my samples. I have my choices narrowed down to BR-111 Triangulo Brazilian Cherry Vs. BR-111 Triangulo Amendoim versus Cosco Quartered White Oak in the rose stain or the Auburn Stain. I even really like the Bruce Park Avenue Makore Laminate in my home office where the shine picks up some red from my cherry home office furniture but in my family room it has no red in it. I need to make a decision real soon but some unexpected expenses coming up with my hard drive dying and having to take all this time off from work installing all my software to a new computer drive and restoring all my files is putting off the decision a little bit longer. I wish someone had all these floors in person to see to help me make a decision....See MoreHelp! I don't want my plants to die!
Comments (2)Depends. What was the bulb number you bought ? Something like F20t12/D ... would be just the same color as Daylight,, not the yellowish warm comfy feeling light we humans like for a nice ambiance. Daylight is more of a blueish color, and just a standard fluorescent bulb. That aquarium/gro-lite tube has more ideal colors for growing green plants that probably are a bit more than slightly better for growing green stuff. Supposedly. Grow-Tone bulbs work...they need to be close,, plants need lots of lumen's.. Sunlight is way bright in lumen's compared to those fluorescent tubes. You're gonna have to be around those bulbs a long time to get a tan. Same with the photosynthesis....See More48" frig help- Don't want water in door. How do I get cold water?
