How much shade is too much shade?
Comments (2)BrugGirl100, (Does '100' mean like you are the 'New and Improved BrugGril'? LOL!) Anyway....if it doesn't flower, or doesn't flower much, it is too much shade. Great help, aren't I? Hey, what do you expect for free? hahahaha Personally, I find that they require 1/2 sun or more to get big rushes of flowers. In shade, they can occasionally get a couple flowers, but the more sun, the better. Wildcat...See MoreHow much is too much sun for shade lovers
Comments (3)Hey, thank you, Jen, it's amazing how a few words of reassurance can warm the heart! I do hope it all works. I'd love to have hostas, but unfortunately that's the neighborhood deer favorite, I think they would eat a garden catalog PICTURE of a hosta if they got the chance. I do have a spot for ferns, waplummer, and I'll look up Christmas fern. I don't know a lot about ferns, I should probably learn to make better use of them, thank you for the suggestion. I have a lot of planting to do this spring. Guess I better get off the computer and get outside! Thanks so much. Happy gardening....See Moreroman shades hang down too far
Comments (5)It depends on the kind of material the woven woods are made of and if they are lined. There is no adjustment in the cord to make the stack tighter, if you tried to make it tighter somehow, you could cause some damange. I would complain that this should have been pointed out to me and if I would have known I would have selected another material or went with a outside mount... Worth a shot, they may suprise you and replace them all....See MoreIs a roman shade for a 60 inches wide too wide to operate
Comments (2)I would do one. You likely won't be using it that often. you said you were putting drapes on the sides. Please make certain your drapes (Rod) extend well beyond the window frame. SO when you have them open, they clear the window and shade. I would use the drapes more often than the shade and avoid a problem. 2 won't look the same. dark gray and white is a pretty big contrast. can you bring them closer in tone?...See MoreRelated Professionals
