I might keep the TV in the built-in, with an apartment-scale sofa (also called a studio sofa) facing it. Such a sofa is usually about 72 inches long. Then I'd float two chairs in front of the built in (if this can be done without blocking the view of the TV). This would leave room for a drop-leaf or expandable table at the other end of the room; for it, choose two chairs with arms that you can pull into the LR seating arrangement when you need them. It might be possible to use the dining table as a sofa table when it's not expanded. If you want to keep the feel as open as possible, don't use end tables with the sofa - if you need lamps either for reading, pharmacy lamps take up almost no physical or visual space. congrats on your new condo! she is lovely in and out. Well, I am sure we could help you make the inside look more like the outside. but i have to say the inside looks just like newly built houses. so that is more your choice i think. and perhaps you just want to use what you have and add a few pieces that will give you more of the look you want, but it does not have to match the exterior. you mentioned a lot of pics from around the world, I am guessing you want to know how to use. I would get a long, low console and mount the TV above it. No shelves, which are trendy but don't really add anything positive. Just put your pictures above and around the TV and that will look great. I'm sure you can find examples on the internet. Your present furniture actually looks nice, not worn or dated. With a wood floor and a gorgeous rug you may not need to change it, unless you feel it's necessary. As mentioned, pictures of the whole room would be a great idea.

IMO if you want tranquil then as little clutter as possible is th first step so IMO the shelving needs to either go or be designed to have only very special things on the shelves and few of them . What is the scale of your drawing? We need to know sizes of spaces and also that painting is very traditional so do we assume all your furniture is also. IMO that alcove would be a great place to display the painting you love. It is best to mark the measurements on the drawing but now maybe just give us the scale you used. Are you keeping the carpet? The more info we get the better help you will get.
