GRRR! Overwintering, white flies and cats!

Just before it got really cold, we were hit with a heavy hail storm that stripped leaves off almost everything in the garden ... including my chilis.

The HabaNada chilis are doing nicely on the sun porch, sprouting a ton of new leaves along their stems, but developed a white fly infestation. So I mixed up the soap and oil remedy to spray on the plants.

That washed off the Bitter Apple that was keeping the cats from eating the leaves, and apparently didn't leave any nasty tasting residue.

So the tips of the branches are naked again. They'll survive it, and are freshly sprayed with Bitter Apple.

The white flies will get weekly sprays until spring.
