I bought a ceramic piece a few years ago, because I just loved how it looked. On the inside there was a stamp/signature and I am just curious if anyone could help me figure out the name of the company/artist. Can anyone identify the maker of this? Or at least a relative time period in which you think it was made? I do not know enough about ceramic/sculpture antiques, so I was hoping to start here. -Thank you.

Seems like I remember something like this in late 1940-50. I remember that kind of heavy, tweedy type shade in people's houses. Or maybe that is just way light is shining on the shade. You had to get right under the shade to read anything. I like the base.

How about a picture of the whole earring? many times earrings have sterling clips or posts when the rest of the piece is not. And I suspect that the mark on the screw back ( if that's what I am seeing) does not represent the jewelry designer. I had a canister part of an antique set that broke that way. I took it to a china repair shop and I cannot even see a crack. That might be another alternative.
