WiFi thermostat

I'd like to install a relatively simple and inexpensive thermostat this week on a hydronic heat system. It will replace a Honeywell Chronotherm that must be nearly 40 years old (electromechanical, snap action). I am mostly seeing remote monitoring because the home will be unexpectedly empty except on some weekends and I need to protect against frozen pipes. WiFi control would be nice to turn the heat up before the arrival to overnight stays while checking on the property.

This is a rural area. There is a Lowes that is 6 miles away and nothing else for nearly 40 miles so I am looking at the Honeywell RTH6580WF1001/U1. Will anyone give thumbs up or down on this t-stat.

Thanks for reading.
