New Year's resolutions for gardening include actually locating all the necessary ingredients for making a huge batch of Al's Mix! I'm determined, even if I have to order online and have it shipped to my door! I'd also like to add more roses to the gardens and get my bulb collection outdoors for some healthy sunshine and fresh air!

Merry Christmas to you too... It's great you have a daughter who supports you.... I've got one too...I needed her this year...Feet are hurting, makes walking hard...but she is in a cast. Had surgery week of thanksgiving on the leg she broke in March. They didn't catch the torn legaments until just recently...she knew leg wasn't right and kept complaining. Anyway she needed me worse than I needed her... In the long run...we worried a lot but it all gets done or we do without...lol I didn't get as much decorating done...but we'll have a good time anyway. Can't wait. It's nice to talk to some old friends. :-) Some I keep up with on FB (thus Pam's "awkward photo" comment - LOL...there was one that WAS) Swaps were fun and such a great connecting point for so many of us. :-) Jessy's boys, Annie's girls (and g-kids - still just 2?) have to be grown too. Will is a freshman now - he doesn't find much time to cook with me anymore but his interest in food is pretty high - LOL! I promise when things slow down after the holiday, I will be back a little more and catch up. Hugs to everybody
