Dena, I swear he comes by it naturally. He reminds me of my Dad. Always tinkering, fixing, building. He is a carpenter, electrician, mechanic and has a degree in forestry. He has always been very creative even tho he thinks he is not. If there is a task at hand he goes right to it. If there is nothing going on, he comes up with something to build. The other night I was looking back at my photo albums of all the things we have done in the 4.5 years since we built the house, and it just blows me away!

Burnt Ridge is a grower and Raintree is for the most part a middleman. Their value is their large selection. However, I have had repeated quality control issues with them over a long period. When an item is offered by both and still in stock I would always try to get it from Burnt Ridge first. Some of their plants can be dinky but others are quite nice. When I was on a tour there some years ago I was impressed by their approach to production of field stock and the results they were getting (as well as their seemingly extensive collection of chestnut and walnut trees, something on a par with the National Collection system plantings of garden plants they have in England - maybe I'm wrong but surely Burnt Ridge has been growing way more kinds of these than they sell).

I bought several pieces of British Traditions furniture at the furniture mart in Atlanta (open to the trade only) approximately 5 yrs ago. If you can gain access to the mart (perhaps have a friend who is a designer?) it is really easy to place a personal order at the showroom (as in they don't care that you are placing a personal order and the minimum initial order amount is fairly low). That being said, I would Buy With Caution!! I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of the pieces that I bought from them - really cheap - in fact, we are giving away the armoire that we bought because my husband is so disgusted with how crappy its made. The back AND top are that cardboardy/particle board stuff. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know... I would certainly want to know before i invested. Good luck!

Thanks. I am decorating with complete pallets. As you suggested I did search on google. There is a manufacturing company of pallets in florida. That offers very good quality wooden furniture pallets. Again thanks for your suggestion.
