Germanstar, These guys could hang out in the sun all day long and still look refreshed. Thanks for the tip on a parry, so can I ask what the ideal conditions are for them, seeing mine have died, I do have one but it seems to be struggling even planted next to the other agave's so up to this point I've just thought they were fussy. Like Suelahoo I'm no authority either, but I do think thong-type sandals have been around for a long time and will always be worn. I do consider them a more casual type sandal though. I like the crop pants, capris and all those shorter lengths. They work especially well when you don't want to wear shorts or long pants. I work in a school too and lots of the people there wear them. I have a feeling that type of pants will be around for some time to come also.

Jenn- don't you have enough on your plate as it is? that's it- no internet for you for at least a week! I was born with your nephew's feet- and, in the style of age of surgery and braces, they 'fixed' them. they also caused me a lifetime of ankle injuries, shinsplints, and expressions of disbelief when a series of podiatrists looked at the xrays of my feet.

First of all, I recommend you get your cat treated for the problem, not try to just keep her from licking her sore... most likely it is an eosinophilic granuloma, or allergic sore, but certainly neoplasia is possible. Still, just putting on an e-collar does not solve the main problem of pain or intense itching, just keeps your cat from being able to make it worse. It's a little like tying someone's hands behind their back to keep them from scratching a poison oak sore- it may help keep the sore from getting worse, but does nothing to ease the itching and burning, and no one can function easily with their hands tied behind their backs... a bit like torture if you ask me. Cats hate e-collars in general, but most will eventually learn to tolerate one. You can get them at Petco. All cats (maybe there are rare exceptions) learn to eat and drink with on one, as long as their bowls are heavy enough not to get turned over or pushed away by an e-collar (rec: using ceramic bowls for pets with e-collars).
