Webcat Either the red or the burgundy. I've got pink ones, one is a very pale pink with a white eye, the other is pink with a red eye. I've got so many seeds of the pink with the white eye that I finally started dead heading them, so no seed pods would develop. I snatched a few seed pods of a burgundy one last year or the year before, but it has not flowered yet. I've also got seeds of Texas star hibiscus, that is really growing slowly this year. I wonder do they peter out after a few years? I started white texas star last winter sowing season, wintered them over in a holding bed and one is setting a flower now, but it looks very spindly. I'm hoping to get seeds from it before the season is over. The reds that you have shown are just to drool for, LOL. They are absolutely georgous!! So if you have some seeds for either red, please keep me in mind. Alberta

Right now I'm into the color GREEN! Green means IT LIVED!!! I'm loving the green sprouts from the trees to the potted plants. And, My BIG Su-prize! While cking my 'shade plant' holding bed I saw a huge hydrenda (sp) bloom! Further inspection showed it to be my little 5" snowball bush! The bloom is as big as the plant! Not only did the baby live, but it bloomed grown up size blooms! I'm so proud! Blooming now in my yard- 2 bunches of purple oxlias (also the ones in pots I just bought from HD) 2 wh salvia blooms 2 tulips 2 bunches of mini daffs 1 old fashion wh petunia bloom And 3 acres of weed/wildflowers-breath taking!

So many beautiful roses. Every time I see one that really grabs me, I'm looking it up to see how it does in my zone. If it does well here, I start looking to see who has it in stock. All this is just for fun. I have no business ordering, but when I find it, sometimes I just can't help myself:) This thread has WAY too many that "grab" me. Seeing Abbaye, Caramel, Marilyn, Susan Elizabeth, Agusta Louise has about undone my resolve. SO tempting. I love the pic of Bolero. I have it and it's one of my very favorites. I hope it does well for you, msdorkgirl. It lasts so long in the vase and smells wonderful. I can't find Caramel Antique for sale anywhere. I told myself that if someplace had both C Antique and Augusta Louise or Abbaye de Cluny, I would order, but no such luck. Where did you find C Antique and Augusta L, Diane? By the way, Jim I'm not usually a big fan of "red red" but your pic of Mr Lincoln has even ME tempted. Thanks for the show everyone

I've never found any of Canada not pretty. When I was a child and my aunt in Washington took us across the border to a zoo (sorry don't remember which/where), I remarked (even at 11 I think) on how well taken care of the properties looked (unlike what I was used to). My aunt explained that there was a tax break for the property looking nice (or something).
