One of the 1990s womb chairs with ottoman that did not need to be reupholstered went for $1700 including buyer's premium. If you can buy one at auction you can get a pretty good deal if it's a good day. Strangely one also went for $3000 and in that case I would get a new one. Mine were the cheapest since they clearly need to be redone, but it may be some time (year+) before this happens. Loribee, there was some Mccobb at the Auction and the Planner pieces did pretty well, considering it seemed to be a weak and indecisive auction day.(Which is how I probably got my chairs)

Update: here are some of the chairs covered. I love it and it’s an easy project to recover chairs again if I get tired of the fabric. For now it’s a splash of color I wanted to lighten the area. Question- should I paint the furniture white or leave it black? There’s no way I can or want to redo my kitchen cupboard color and the trim is black. I thought of painting just the the black trim to white but not sure it works. So should I leave chairs black? Granite it white and black? Don’t mind the mess it’s still a work in progress😂 I was looking for an app that can give me the option to see ahead of time a color change but can’t find any that work for me

Lovely table and chairs!! Why do you want upholstered chairs? The Windsors are great! I think a windsor with a cushion would be a better choice than an upholstered chair.

A woven shade with panels over. A woven shade alone? The blinds alone are not what you are longing for. Nobody is : ) Before anything?? You first need a direction. A few inspo pics. You can't decorate in isolation- one little area out of a whole. Where's the family room btw?? What are you GOING for. That's the question and the changes above? Exactly why I asked.
