ID this echeveria, repotting
Comments (9)Thanks. One last question before I commit to anything--I bought a 5 inch azalea pot thinking I could probably put all three in, if not permanently then at least for now. Would it be better to just go buy more pots and plant separately, or should it be fine having the three in one pot?...See MoreWhen one Echeveria just isn't enough
Comments (2)Yes, mostly E. elegans, with a couple of others mixed in. Even here it isn't foolproof; the near continuous 3 weeks of constant rains we had back in March rotted a lot of succulents here, especially Graptoveria's, and you have to be diligent about picking off rotten leaves or any with fungal infections when planting this densely, as well as not letting fallen leaves collect upon them. Echeveria imbricata is also a lot more sensitive to too much rain, and they all mostly look like c--p this spring. A year round gardening climate means year round gardening work!...See MoreEcheveria setosa
Comments (6)Micro, never fret about minior sunburn in Echeveria. It may be disfiguring for a while, but those damaged leaves will all be replaced in a few months. This stuff happens. Just think about its potential down the road a bit :-) Love the flowers on that plant. Great photo!...See MoreEcheveria ID Confirmation?
Comments (10)The issue with this group of Echeveria is no one knows for certain what is what. They are so closely aligned to one another as you will see in the following pictures. the first picture has been ID'ed by John Tragger, HBG as labeled but I can't guarantee all of the others are correctly named. Flowers are on no help as they ALL have the exact same flower. Truth be know, all of these could be the same plant! Kevin, don't go down the Echeveria road.... you will need a new residence in short order as you know after seeing what I have! This was purchased as Echeveria colorata...See MoreRelated Professionals
