My husband has a Variegated Saber Ficus in his classroom which he's had for 2 years. It's been doing just fine there and spends the summers at my office. He told me that now the leaves were starting to fall off and turn brown. It is watered every 2 weeks (or sooner if it's dry), it is in an east facing window and has flourescent light on it all day. We moved it back to my office where it can get more sun and care to see if we can revive it. The leaves are drooping, some are yellowing and turning brown and some are getting dry and brittle right in the center. My thought was the school turned the heat off and it got cold and started dropping leaves, but this seems to be something more. I'm attaching a photo of the leaves. It's a small plant, maybe 12" high. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
