Bosch v. Frigidaire Professional appliance suite
Comments (5)I have the 800 series DW (SHE68E15UC) that I got about 2 months ago. It is extremely quiet and does a great job cleaning dishes. What I like best about it is the top rack for the silver ware. Every piece is separated and I put all of the same utensils next to each other which makes for a faster empty. You will read that some people do not like the European tines for the plates and glasses. Some feel they are too small. I have Pfaltzgraff plates which are big and clunky and have no issue loading. I also have the free standing French Door Fridge (B26FT70SNS ). This is something new for Bosch. After about 2 months I have no issues. There are 2 of us and we entertain often and love the output from the ice machine. We have yet to run out. It is also very quiet. It is about half as quiet as my old GE Profile SxS. I don't have a range though but I did get their induction cooktop which is my absolute favorite piece (NIT8665UC). This thing is amazing. Yes, I had to get new pots and pans (goodbye Calphalon, hello Le Creuset), but it was worth it. I love the stainless trim across the top and bottom, the way the 'buttons' are integrated into the trim, the ease of clean-up and the responsiveness of the system. Good luck with your decision making. It can be a bit overwhelming at times....See MoreAppliances GE vs. KitchenAid or other?
Comments (2)Don't limit yourself to a single brand......look for the features, specifications, and style you want first. I just put 4 new appliances in my new kitchen (if you include the range hood), they are all different brands, they don't look awkward together, and I'm happy with the performance of all of them (so far - it's only been about 8 months since it's been finished). I have a KitchenAid fridge, a Bosch diswasher, an LG range, and a Kobe range hood. (I don't have a microwave.)...See MoreWill Frigidaire Professional ss finish match KitchenAid 48" ss range
Comments (16)Hi emaldrich! I did go with the ekectrolux. I just couldn’t get past the plastic look of the frigidaire. I’m so happy I did. I would have hated to spend a little less money only to regret it. I think the kitchen aid handles look good with the Electrolux. Just for an added plug of the side by side, it makes cleaning out the frig so much easier because all the food is visible. I see the old leftovers, I toss it! We love it with my family if 5. I have kids, so there are handprints (and footprints....heaven only knows why) but I don’t worry about that because, hey, we LIVE here. :) I’m glad we chose the apliances we bought. I’ll try to snap some pics. If they come out wonky, I’m sorry....See MoreSamsung vs. Kitchen Aid major appliances
Comments (10)Samsung is much more current design and has more of the latest features than Kitchenaid. Having said that, my repair guy on my oven told me Samsungs are so hard to get parts for. He tears his hair out every time he needs to repair Samsungs because it's going to be weeks before he gets the part he needs, and talking to them is very hard. Kitchenaid is a sub of Whirlpool and their fridges and DWs are more sleepy older style. But the Kitchenaid parts are easily located and available, even for the older models. Regardless, don't get either brand for your gas range. Your gas range should be a GE or maybe Bosch. Don't be afraid to mix appliance brands. You'll like your kitchen more if you do....See Moreglfjjf
