That is a very difficult shot. Did you manually set the exposure or let the camera's automation do it? Here's the problem: If the exposure is set to show room detail, the lighted windows and exterior scene tends to burn out. If the exposure is set for what is seen through the windows, then it gets too dark to capture interior detail. Also challenging is the difference in light value of the highly lighted floor areas compared to the part in shadow. Your camera's sensor must have a wide dynamic range and the exposure was just right to have captured this shot. Congratulations!

Thank you for the comments. Unfortunately our internet has been down since late Thursday, back up for a short time on Friday and down ever since. They say we may have to wait till July 13 to get the internet issue sorted out on the ISP end. I had to go and get a Hotspot Mobile device so I can access the internet from home today.
