Oh, my. I just read the Nov. 9th entry. She has a little baby. Knowing your time on earth is just about over...that is one thing. Knowing you have to leave behind not only your husband and any other family......but, the baby. I am so touched. God bless them all.

I saw them on a show a couple of years ago and found them intriguing as a couple. Joey is one of those people who appears to be beautiful inside and out.

I've been a big fan of theirs for years, so this breaks my heart. It was sad when they cancelled their show, to devote themselves full-time to their special needs baby...and then for Joey to get cancer is just so unfair. She is a beautiful person and they are such a devoted couple. So sad....

So heartbreaking for them. I have been reading about it. I am sure I have heard them, but don't remember them specifically.

I am so sad to hear this news. She grew up not too many miles from us. I loved their music. Hugs and prayers to them.

read she's on hospice and home...she can see, hear, still touch their child...i'm sure they'll have plenty of pictures and tapes...a poor replacement but something that will be cherished by the family...

I'd never heard of them until recent reports of them on Facebook. She apparently has passed away. Very sad.

The last I had seen, she was reading the recordable books, so their DD had something to listen to and hear her mother's voice. I had not seen she had passed away. May she RIP.

That's so sad. Initially I was surprised to hear it was cervical cancer, given she just had a baby and presumably had a lot of exams related to that, and cervical cancer typically takes years to develop. But apparently there are some rare and very aggressive types that don't show up in screenings the way that the other ones do. I admire their grace and courage facing this reality. These things just don't make any sense.

I hadn't heard of them until I saw the story about her cancer. So sad.
