28" Snapper Rear Engine does not run when clutch pedal released!

Three times the Snapper dealer mechanic has told me he has it fixed, but whenever I try it it dies when the clutch pedal is released.

The mechanic insist he had it working and mowed the lawn for 1/2 hour then parked it and a couple of days later I went to pick it up, loaded it on my truck and tried it and it died.

Well it actually runs at a slow idle when the clutch pedal is released. This is an improvement it used to die.

It runs really well at slow idle but if you speed it up it dies.

The mechanic wants to replace the whole wiring harness and components. I wonder what hat will cost me?

So what do you think, I'll take wild guesses.

Thanks,

Ralph
