Waiting for Moonstone to open!

It's rather silly, but I so want this Moonstone to open, because I am hoping it will be like the gorgeous blooms Moonstone is famous for! It's been blooming, but not the pretty ones! This one looks like it has possibilities! When I started an earlier thread about Moonstone some you mentioned that your blooms had split centers and I didn't want to believe mine would, but I haven't had one pretty bloom all season long!

Here's hoping!! It looks like there are aphids on the inner side of that petal. But if that's true, they're easily gotten rid of. Go Moonstone Go!!

It seems to take forever to open. You do get a lot of duds, but the good blooms are amazing!

All of my hosta and most of the fern are up and starting to leaf out. Most have doubled and the ones planted last fall have at least 3 to 10 shoots and large one. Yesterday and today we ( as in my DH ) who is really not a flower man spread manure that is well seasoned all over the entire areas. Sore back but looking good. Watered it all, moved a few that were in a not so right place and dug out 8 and added top soil to build it levels and replanted. Good days work and even had the time to go check out Myrle and see what her and her sister were up to.Now to find homes for all the ones I bought this year, then get the back patio cleaned after all the wind and sit back and drool at the progress. Suppose to be really warm and sunny for all the next week and will be open very quickly.What a great time of the year

it has some characteristics of a cool weather Royal Hawaiian and the branch looks like it has some of the tell tell leaf scar bumps. Too many unknowns for to say for sure but congrats on getting them rooted and blooming.

I'm confused - don't agents work for the insurance companies? I'm not an insurance expert by any means but isn't there some possibility of liability down the road if an incident isn't reported? Say there's a problem with the car that isn't immediately noticeable so the Mercedes dealership won't fix it later on when it becomes apparent and neither will your insurance since it wasn't reported. Then you might be liable to fix it yourself since there's no proof or record anywhere with your insurance. You might want to get a second opinion Glenda. You seem to be doing just what you are told and not questioning it, but sometimes people are self-serving and not necessarily looking out for your best interests. It can't hurt to get some additional information.

Yes, totally agree. We opened our microwave, but not entirely. It was installed yesterday after sitting in our room for a month. A big dent on the side of it. We should have completely examined it as soon as we received it. Good thing that the cabinets will obscure it, but still. I must say, I'm not sure I would purchase appliances online again either.

It really has gorgeous buds doesn't it? I have a few that MAY open if it stays a little warmer.

Did it open, photo please. We don't care if it's not perfect.

I have lots of buds as well seil. After this latest weather I think the end has come.

Thanks everyone. Carol, those are blemishes on the outer petals, not aphids, I know all about them, especially in early spring. Patty, it is opening very slowly! We had rain all day yesterday and much cooler temps. We are supposed to have several warmer, sunny days in a row, I believe it will open and I will post a picture even if it's not perfect!
