Help with zero radius sink and quartz countertops.

My wife and I are redoing our kitchen and purchased a Blanco 518478 zero radius sink. We sent over the info to our counter top people and they didn't mention anything about the zero radius until I mentioned it and then they told me that they suggest doing a negative reveal by half an inch!!! and that there has to be a 3/8 radius for the material (CaesarStore Quartz). My first thought is they want to be lazy or error give them wiggle room for the sink by doing such a large negative reveal, but I was even more disappointed by the 3/8 inch radius as it kind of kills the idea of a zero radius sink. After talking with them some more, they said they could do a positive reveal or flush, but they were pretty firm on the radius. What have others done to get the squared opening for and undermount with quartz?
