Question about cuttings with peduncles

This is probably species dependent, but i am curious how much sooner you can expect to see blooms from a cutting with a peduncle rather than without?

My H. obscura from Jan Sword came with a peduncle (<3), and has been growing nicely for me since I got it.

I also got another H. carnosa cutting, with two peduncles on it. I know carnosa can often take a bajilljon years to flower, does having cuttings with peduncles shave much time off?

Also, random note... All you guys with family heirloom carnosas make me jealous of your carnosas, lol. Though, I see it a lot. I am "making" my own, from cuttings from people I know. The peduncle cutting came from an 82 year old I know, from a plant that was originally her mothers!
