Comments (75)As a newbie just receiving seeds back from my first ever swap...I am completely overwhelmed and so filled with gratitude at the generosity of you all. Nearly every seed that I had ever dreamed of acquiring arrived in my package, and then some! Tomatoes, beans, cardinal flower, monarda, herbs, cream of sask watermelon, I could go on and on. (because that was one big package of JOY) Going to be a tough act for the man in the red and white suit to follow on the 25th, my morning on the 7th is off the charts!!!! Thank you all so much! Nicky wasn't kidding when she told me to start planning a new garden bed, now I will have to!...See More5th Annual Tomato & Pepper Seed Exchange - Pt. Deux
Comments (95)Something else that is really cool about Heather's swap (and the other round-robins) is that when I'm reading the threads on GW I recognize many names, esp. those who have been around a few years and/or sent me seeds. When I have grown someone's plants, I feel some kind of connection with them. (Hi, Janine!) Some old salts like Smokemaster put their names on every packet they send out. I'm realizing how much I appreciate that, and I'm gonna start doing it. Hope others will too - it makes this chili addiction even more fun. Happy holidays to all. I also happen to be in Toronto, and am always on the lookout for new garden swap buddies :) I have plenty of veggie, herb and flower seeds, as well as some perennials that need dividing-- Jerusalem artichoke, New England Aster, Rose of Sharon, beebalm, etc. Let me know if you'd like to arrange a swap!...See Moreluckynes13
