Anyone use Plangarden software?
Comments (12)I personally use an Excel spreadsheet, along with 3D modeling with Google Sketchup. It's a great way to plan, as well as to keep a diary of your garden for next year's planning. Here is a screenshot of the layout for this year's addition: You can along the bottom the various tabs for the rows. Clicking on the tab (or the hyperlinked text on the layout map) takes you to this screen: This is for the indeterminate tomatoes. The diagram on the top is for spacing, and the table below outlines the varieties, and the expected key dates. Below that (and off the screen) are tables for entering the specific dates that seeds were planted, when transplants were moved out, etc. If you are interested in something like this, send me an email and I can send along the excel file for you. Might take some time to get it catered to your use, but not much if you know anything about Excel. Michael...See MoreDoes anyone have dictation software
Comments (1)How big a file is it and how accurate are you looking for? I've never found the software converters to be 100% accurate. When I was with the PI firm, some of them used a transcription service for the large reports. Send them the file, they typed it and emailed it back. It was quick and quite reasonable....See MoreDoes anyone have a Landscape Software? I could use a favor.
Comments (6)Take a picture of the plan and post it here. And take a few pictures of the existing house as a backdrop where the new design is located, i.e. front of house, rear patio. etc. There are pros here that will give you at least some semblance of a 3D concept. If you do search for a 3D Imaging services professional here in "Find a Pro" they will still ask for the above information....See MoreDesign software using photos
Comments (4)I have a Mac computer that doesn't have powerpoint as they use their own system. I suppose I could download it. Do you know if either of these options have various selections that certain programs use in trying different looks? This is my problem. I want to brick the fireplace to the ceiling, eliminating the curves, update the trim around the fireplace, add a mantel and raise the tv up so that it is mounted on the outside. I have installed travertine floors, and cannot decide on the stacked stones vs. a thicker stone(full dimensional). I also need to close in this shelves to the sides of the fireplace. They are too narrow to covert to seating. I thought about cabinetry, but they are so low and narrow that I do not see much of a purpose for them, unless others have suggestions. I've been struggling with this for over a year. Thank you...See Moregregbradley
