Overwintering Banana ‘Dwarf Lady Finger’ (Musa acuminata) (from Logees

My Dwarf Lady finger is containerized and doing well outside. I re-potted it into a 22" pot because it kept toppling over in it's smaller pot. I don't know what to do with it for the winter. It's too way too heavy to lug into the house and too big to grow as a houseplant- no room. I do have an unheated basement that can get to around 45' in the dead of winter and I can wheel it in there on a dolly. I can place it close to an east window that gets good sun. Should I do this and water sparingly? I can also move it to the back of the basement where the light is low and let it go dormant. I am not sure what to do and any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
