I guess I don't have winter and summer clothes. I wear short sleeve things in the winter too and long sleeved things in the summer also. No sweats for me of any kind. Now the shoes may change over to some boots and that is about it.

No way... here in Oklahoma it's cool this morning. low 60's. But we can easily still get 85 during this month. I don't put my summer away till after Thanksgiving. I just pull out some warm stuff for now. ;)

Nice to see you, SK. There's a chill in the air here, too. Not enough for drastic measures, though. I prefer temperatures that are a little on the cool side and will spend a great deal more time outside doing fun things.

Today's high is predicted to be 58 and Tuesday's high is supposed to be 79. Cannot put anything away or bring it out.

It's been a rainy and cold few days here! One day I wore capris and then had to change in the afternoon.

I have a few closets and so I don't actually put things away, I just move to a different closet.

I think there will be warmer days ahead, but once my mind is in Fall mode, I don't wear summer items. I do hate when the weather fluctuates. And, I hate the "just wear layers!" advise.

So, I guess I prefer summer where I don't need a jacket and cooler when I need one. Just not the bring "it along just in case weather."

i don't have a change of clothing between Summer and Winter. I wear the same clothes all year. I do put away sweat shirts that have a theme on them, like Halloween and Christmas. I do have a few short sleeved clothes that I don't wear in the winter and one dress. I think i have 5 long sleeved tops that can be worn year round as they are light weight. So I can wear them in summer in the air conditioning. Sweaters are also worn mostly year round. The lightweight type. I am always cold even here in Georgia.

I know that Fall is on it's way and it is my favorite season. However, the temp. is still hovering around 100 in the daytime. I think it will be quite a while before Winter clothes are needed.

Just turned on the heat to knock off the chill. Cool, 56 outside, windy, dreary, drizzle. I slept with my bedroom deck door open last night and it was quite chilly in my bedroom when I got up.,

Brrrr, don't even want to think about it! LOL!

Low of 50°F this morning here in central KS, and all of 52° right now at 10:45 (lows in the mid-40's the next two mornings). We're going to get back into the 80's for highs next week, and so we get a rollercoaster ride with temperature trends.

I have "between" wear that works for both fall and spring. Stuff I wear between season extremes. Lightweight long or 3/4-length sleeves. Lightweight slacks and a couple lightweight, light colored, jeans. A few jogging suits (or whatever they are called these days) also work for between seasons. I shift hot weather stuff to the basement soon after Labor Day, and bring "between" wear up. It will have to get a LOT colder before I get winter clothes out.

Well, it's 39 degrees here on the shores of the Greatest of the Great Lakes. Definitely time for the heavier stuff.

Here in the north Houston Texas area it will be quite a while before I turn off the AC and before I start getting out warmer clothes. It has been getting much more comfortable outside though.

Yep, I changed my closet over this weak. It's 45 right now - although it's supposed to go to the 60's next week. I do love fall, I just wish we could jump right over winter back to spring.

Fall is definetly here in Southern Oregon. Nights have been chilly for a while, and our Indian Summer-like days are so wonderful. Clothing for me rarely changes...when it is over 85 or 90, I'll uncover my arms, otherwise mostly long sleeves and always take a sweater or jacket. I'm cold, and sitting close to my little heater as the evening temp approaches 69.

I had to pull out some ski pants and a heavy sweater today as the power was out all day until about an hour ago. It is supposed to get down to 45 tonight so happy I have some heat again! I have been getting some light sweaters out as it has been chilly here.

Getting to be my favorite time of the year. Limited bugs, and other problem issues.

This is my first fall/winter back in Florida after 20 years. Right now I am internally confused, my brain knows it's fall but it sure don't feel like fall here. I brought a bunch of warmer close with me just incase it gets cold but I am wondering if I will even need them here,

Yes, summer temperatures have gone away. Hopefully, I have cut the grass for the last time of this season. The next cuttings will be for leaf mulching. The maples are turning color and my lone elm has dropped 1/3 of its leaves.

A woodpecker decided to drill a hole in my house. By his action, I'm convinced he was not looking for insects, but was fashioning a winter shelter. He was making a large hole in the siding next to the window frame where it meets the second story soffit. He was trying to get behind the siding. Shooing him away was to avail. I plugged to hole and then cemented an aluminum patch over the area. The sheet aluminum was pre-painted and matched the wood color. It did stop the damage at that location, but I must keep a watchful eye in case he attacks another similar location. There's plenty more for him to choose from.

I put up a new bird feeder. The old one was finally getting bad after 20 years of service.

After the last leaf mulching, it will be time to put the mower away for the winter and bring up the snowblower. The last of my leaves do not fall until a week before Thanksgiving. I have 2 trees in front that hangs onto their leaves until the winter storms rips them away. I'll be out there in a winter jacket and cap raking and mulching while anxiously watching a snow laden sky.

After the first heavy frost/freeze and maybe a skim of snow, street salt appears. That;s my signal to store my 'good car' in the garage and bring out the Jeep for winter driving. That rough riding Jeep will be my transportation until mid April next year.

These changes marks the passing of another season and a reminder that I have been given one more year on earth.
