Counter top mixing - Need help!

We are doing a kitchen with medium brown wood floors and white countertops. Initially we were going to do all fantasy white on the perimeter AND island...but are interested in the idea of lessening maintenance (and adding visual appeal) by doing one in concrete caesarstone quartz.

We are planning to do a white subway tile backsplash above the perimeter...and our sink is in the island. With all this info, what would you do? Quartz on the island and the fantasy white on the perimeter? Or vice versa?

Visually I like the look of the darker quartz on the perimeter...but it seems like having the quartz material on the island would be better since more food prep and day to day activities will happen there. Thoughts???
