Dryer Sheets
Comments (1)Hi imaque; If you don't know what it is made of why would you want to put it in with your worms with all the possible chemicals it may contain. I would put it in a container with soil from the yard and see if it degrades in that first. If it does put in a few worms and watch their reaction. If the worms are irritated burn the sheets or disguard them in the garbage the land fill handles. larry...See MoreSeventh Generation Dryer Sheets
Comments (3)There is so much air going through the Miele dryer. I put just a few items in one day and they kept getting sucked into the air intake holes too. I have the Shaklee dryer sheets which sound a lot like the SG ones. Paper that perfs. I have not used them in the Miele. I'm more of a liquid softener girl anyway. I did use them in my previous FL and they worked. Maybe because of the gas dryer but I never have an issue with static cling. I was told that gas dryer heat is moister than electric dryer heat - that would explain less static. Excerpt from linked page: The more laundry you do, the more, you'll appreciate a natural gas dryer. Unlike electric dryers, natural gas dryers provide instant heat. Unlike the electric alternative, a natural gas dryer provides full heatinstantly. That means your laundry will be done faster and come out fluffy and clean smelling. I looked on Amazon and saw a review from 3 years ago. But yesterday-at the Walmart-is the first time I saw it. Larsi-have you seen this or tried it? So glad you found these dryer sheets, haven't seen those before-just the liquid. Yay!...See MoreDryer sheets to deter cut ants ...
Comments (10)Mizan, yes it does ... lol. And thank you for your tip! Were the squirrels gnawing the bark? Whatever the problem, that's an ingenious solution and easier than installing a metal collar which I've seen recommended to keep squirrels out of mature pecan trees. NMM, Linda M started using the dryer sheets on a whim remembering that sticking a couple in your back pocket had been recommended to keep mosquitoes away when outside. I've tried that and it works. She looked further into the subject on line this morning and sent a couple of LINKS. The second links refers to research showing why some brands work better than others depending what it is in dryer sheets that have the repellent qualities. Linda says the inexpensive HEB brand is what she's using and finds to be working. I hope it works for you. Let us know....See MorePawprint
