Finished Bathroom Pics (two bathrooms!)--very pic heavy
Comments (41)Wooo!!! Cat, I am stuck at home because of the snow storm so wandered around here not looking at anything in particular and came upon your thread. I totally agree with you on the shower curtain choice. Regardless of whether I have the money to spare or not, keeping those suckers clean is a nuisance over time. We have a glass shower door that was installed back in 2003 and I can't tell you how much I hate cleaning it. Not that the door is all that dirty, but a shower curtain is way easier, and you can change the look/style whenever you feel like it. Can't do that with a pricey shower door. Anyway, everything looks lovely as usual, including the "prom" dress :-) Love, love those circular tiles, and the floor tiles that look like fabric. Gorgeous. What colour is that again? It looks greyish on my monitor....See MoreCondo remodel...One or two sinks in bathrooms...
Comments (4)I have the double-sink godmorgen from Ikea. I really like it better than the single-sink we had before. The countertop area was always a cluttered mess and the sink was too small for both of us to use at the same time; having two sinks keeps the clutter under control AND makes it easier to share. One big sink would be nice for cleaning purposes though. Another reason I like the double sink is because I can soak clothing/hand-wash items, etc in one sink, and the other sink is still available for use. We don't have a laundry room sink, so this works well for me....See MoreStuck between two gray paints for bathroom- HELP pick one PLEASE
Comments (14)Yes it comes from the south...lots of light and really high ceilings. I think maybe the brown on the walls now throws off the colors but if you look at the picture of where the shelves are going to be , both those colors are also on there. thanks so much. smoke embers on top and cumulus cloud on the bottom....See More60’ bathroom vanity- one sink or two?
Comments (6)In my MB I have a 60” vanity with 2 sinks but I did go with slightly smaller sinks in order to get a couple inches more countertop. One thing to think about besides counter top space is storage space in the vanity. I have a storage closet in my MB so I didnt need to be concerned with vanity storage. A second sink will reduce the amount of storage because underside of the sink and the plumbing. With one sink you could have a 30” sink base and a 30” inch drawer base with 3 or 4 drawers. I would suggest doing 2 deep drawers and one shallow like I did in my hall bath...See MoreButternut
