It's an old folding chair of the type found in funeral parlors or Sunday school rooms. Not as nice as some I have seen....you might get $2,00 for it as it is....cleaned and shined up....maybe $5.00.

The trouble with making a fabric covering for a lawn chair is attaching it to the chair and getting a strong enough fabric to withstand the weight of a person sitting. They do sell webbing for chairs that can be covered with a cushion

You could try sewing a heavy weight canvas or outdoor type fabric like a "director's" chair....or you could make a one piece type beach type seat.
