Peat is best avoided with succulents; they like to dry out between waterings and peat is very difficult to re-wet once it drys and can prohibit water and oxygen from reaching the plant's roots. If you only used a bit though it should be okay for now but long term I would recommend eliminating it. I'm not familiar with orchid mix but it looks as though it would drain quickly which is what you want. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in on this. I would start to slowly acclimate this plant to more sunlight over the next few weeks. It probably was getting very little light in the store. Since you just re-potted, wait a couple more days to make sure roots are healed and then water thoroughly until water runs out the bottom of the pot. Then wait to water again until the soil has dried out. Lastly, Do you know what species of Kalanchoe this is? I'm not sure how this one is suppose to look but the stems seem unusually long to me. You may want to consider getting the plant healthy/happy for now and then take cuttings and propagate in the spring. Again, someone with more experience may be able to help you here. Best of luck!

Kalanchoe tomentosa is a green-grey or bluish-grey fuzzy leaf, compared to eriophylla's white-grey fuzzy leaf. The tips of tomentosa are most times edged at the tips (top portion) with a darker color (either brown or black), whereas, eriophylla has none or just a bit at its tips. K. tomenosa can have a scalloped look at its leaf end, whereas eriophylla comes to a point. The blooms of K. tomentosa are a darker purpley color & the outside of the petals are fuzzy. K. eriophylla has pink blooms ~the calyx are fuzzy, but not the petals (I'm pretty sure--haven't seen blooms for a while on that one recently). Hope this helps!

Is this a K. luciae (flapjack)? Looks like it could use more sunlight. I have had odd things happen to the stems of this plant. Sometimes they will heal themselves and sometimes they fall apart and die. So I'm sure you'd like to know which is going to happen here! The stem may have had some mechanical damage. Was the bottom part of the stem soft and rotted feeling? Believe it or not, sometimes it will grow new pups. This plant was eaten by something, probably a rat. Sure looked like a goner to me. So, like you, I cut off the top, let it callous and placed it on my gritty mix, probably tucked it in about 1/2 inch, and let it do its thing. The top survived. I was lazy and didn't get the stem out of the ground, so imagine my surprise when I saw this! I think your beheaded top will root just fine for you. I just wanted to tell you to not give up on the stem right away. You may be surprised, too! My plants are all outside, but after beheading I put them in indirect sunlight.

Not sure exactly what it is, bumps and/or spots are often oedema/edema. I actually water mine more often, but it all depends on soil: if water retaining, it will take much longer to dry up. I keep them in very gritty mix that drains very well and fast. Oedema is a disorder and I result of plant taking in much more water than it can transpire. Leaves will not 'revert'/clean up. You just have to wait for them to grow old and eventually fall off. But I am not absolutely sure if that is the condition of your plant. Depending on how whole plant looks (too big - not as full as you would like, too many 'naked' woody stems, or similar), I may consider total rejuvenation. I did that with my original plant when it reached over 2', and was not as compact. It grew very nice, green leaves, but I wanted smaller plant and more compact. Your plant looks ok otherwise (from what I can see in photos), but it could be more compact - if it gets more light.
