Leptospermum cardwellii (or Cardwell).

Probably shown a pic of this Aussie native before but as it's now in full flower - it's been in (developing) for 6 or 7 years - and I just thought I'd show this seasons bloom. After some good rain in late winter it's looking good.

    That's a long wait, but worth it. Lovely show of bloooms.

    That looks really nice. I think I saw a lot of it on Hinchinbrook Island, which is just across from Cardwell.

    I checked back on my records, the one on Hinchinbrook Island I IDed as Leptospermum polygalifolium. But it looks quite similar.
