Hmmm...maybe some kind of Echevaria...? That's my best guess looking at the flowers. I'm sure other more knowledgeable members will chime in with a more specific answer. Tyler

Oh thank you Sherry, they are visiting us here in Missouri and loved to find out what it was. Carolyn

Looking at the Dolly Parton there definitely seems to be a darker hue and not as bright. The vavoom looks to be a bit too orange, as mine was a bright red orange that would fade to a salmon color. The blooms lasted forever, several weeks. But even then, I would deadhead them because they were becoming ugly to look at, but none of the petals had even started to fall off. Somewhat related, but after messing around with Gemini AI today, is it possible the Tropicana I received from Lowe's was mislabeled? I've written off the possibility of my previous one being this, as the blooms are nowhere near the bright Orange-red and look to be more pink. Gemini suggested that both are possibly Tropicana but that difference in variance seems pretty stark especially since the new Tropicana is growing in the same spot that my old one was .

I think the legs have to be safe and edible. I love the pasta idea! Dampen to shape then dry. But I can't find the right one with squid ink, and it's too expensive...But, maybe raw mai fun, which I have on hand, could be done the same way. And I could dye them some off color from the fridge. Or I have an extruder. I can't remember the settings. I could make them out of dough. But now that I'm imagning the chow mein more the way you meant, they're bigger than I was intending, but would be ookier all spayed and odd. Oh! Almond wands! Lots to experiment on.... Thank-you!
