Maleleuca 'Miles'

Maleleuca 'Miles', a lovely weeping (native) paper bark. Arrr, Spring! You wait all year for it's flowering show-time no matter whether your garden is full of natives or exotics, though I must admit, I (generally) favour the natives. .

Lovely. The tree is a real beauty. I'm with you, about the natives.

Thanks Inga. If I remember from the 'good old days' you're in Canada. As spring has just begun here, I guess it's officially autumn there!

Yes, I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Have no garden, but grow tropical flowers on my south window sills.

Ohh yes? :>) With humidity at 87% and temperature ar 33°C.

We are still a little on the warm side, to call it autumn.

Had to do a different search, to find this forum, they have moved it to A- for Australia instead of OZ.

When our Melaleucas burst out in flower it the time for March Flies. They come out in their droves. They get their sugar hit from the flowers, and then they go for protein and they're not fussy about where they get it from.

Fortunately I don't think I've got them, Tropi.
