mamorella, Annie and nosoccermom: Thanks! I really do love the aqua. BTW I used encycolorpedia.com, which I read about on this forum, as a starting point with my inspiration photo, and it did lead me to the aqua I chose. The yellow door didn't work so well, and I ended up with lemon-lime colors. I tried to go more to the yellow side of the spectrum myself, but the color I chose does have a bit of a green tinge to it. So now I am going crazy with the yellow on the front door. The first row shows the current door color, which looks very creamy on the door. Then second row shows the yellows that are up one shade. I'm leaning towards yellow lotus because it is more towards gold than green. But I'm afraid it might be too much on the garage door and DH will kill me if I'm not happy with my 2nd choice since he will be painting. Any suggestions? I have searched for examples of the colors in rooms and not been too successful. And we did put up samples of the current yellow in multiple places on the house before painting and it looked great. But once it was officially on the doors, it looked just ok. Light and creamy instead of sunny and yellow.

Your house is beautiful. I just painted my new craftsman in SW FL with Sherwin Williams 7726 Lemon Verbena for the hardie siding on top, SW 7733 Bamboo Shoot for the stucco on the first floor and SW 7730 Forestwood for the trim. I just personally love greens for a craftsman house but felt that with the light in FL, the greens had to be a bit cleaner and brighter than what is normally chosen for the rest of the country. (The trim isn't finished being painted.)

Your current porch light is great! I really like the contrast. Brushed nickel could look good too, I think white would be a mistake, it would blend in instead of adding some fun!

@multiplemama09 Hi! Sorry, I didn't use any specific paint swatch/color. Hindsight... should've. ;) I was just playing around with color in Photoshop. Here are some color palettes with the hex numbers in case that helps. Could probably match it up with a real paint color. I didn't touch your trim color -- I just altered the siding and door/garage doors. Muted sage green, very muted dark blue - almost an off-black, your cream/beige trim, stained wood door. Slate gray with blue undertone, dark dark navy, your cream/beige trim. OH! I also gave you wider shutters that are to scale for your windows. :)
