Monarch "lost" in house, ideas where to look?

An adult monarch we raised from an egg eclosed today. It is now somewhere in our house. I saw it fly toward a light and perch on a window blind. I went to get something to put it in so it could be released when others who "helped" rear it got home. But it left the blind while I was gone and now I can not find it.

Any suggestions on where to look? Would it perch high, low, in the open, hidden? I've put out sugar water, a cut orange, and brought in two potted milkweed plants hoping to coax it into the open. Hopefully, he/she will show up by tomorrow so we can do a release to the great outdoors.

I've always loved our open floor plan, but it sure gives a free flying butterfly a lot of places to hide!
