Laura, your plant looks like an Echeveria Perle Von Nurnberg.

Your plant seems fine, but extremely etiolated (stretched) and thirsty.

Etiolation for succulents is an irreversible process, and they are cause by insufficient lighting conditions. What is your location? And what direction are your windows facing? You will need at least 4-5 hours of sunlight a day to keep these type of plants looking tight and pretty in their rosette forms.

Personally your mix looks very wet and peaty too. Almost all problems with "wrinkly leaves" or "look their they are dying" begin with poor roots. The No 1 killer for succulents are poor wet water logged soil that usually drown the roots from too much moisture. If you can get access to perlite/pumice I would recommend adding them to your soil.

Im from St. Louis, it could be the lighting because i've noticed our living room isn't as bright as the rooms.There's a tree that somewhat blocks the sun. We'll see though since our windows are in the opposite direction from direct sunlight. In the picture it does look a little wet but in person it looks normal. Two of its leaves at the bottom have shriveled up. I'm going to try to move it to a different location in the apartment to see if that helps with lighting. I'll also look into perlite/pumice for the soil. I really want it to be happy.

Moving the plant into a sunnier location will definitely help, but becareful to slowly introduce it about 1-2 hours more direct sun each day/per week. If not conditioned well, you might fry and burn your plant.

As for your soil situation, succulents roots do need water, but not for a prolonged period of time. In fact, when dry well before waterings promotes root growth to "seek" more water.

The trick is to aerate the soil with more perlite and pumice/ at least 50-50 will allow you to water with ease and encourage the soil to dry faster.

I doubt that moving it closer to window will burn it unless it is full sun, and the windows (glass) probably cut down some of sun intensity too, but as Bernard said one has to be definitely very careful about moving plants into full sunlight from relatively shady location.

Your plant is very etoliated, they are supposed to be quite compact. It may help to consider adding some supplemental lighting.

I wonder what kind of soil did they used in store for repotting?

Here is photo of a very young plant growing from a leave. This is March, and plants is inside (cold Canada!!!) by the South window with supplemental lifghting - it has some color (in more sun it would be more), and the leaves are much closer.
