PUMPKIN PATCH is a cute rose. I love the "oddball" colored roses best, so of course I had to have it. But it's not the greatest rose out there. The blooms blow very fast and are quite small, and don't repeat all that well. I got EASY DOES IT last yr, and it was fantastic! One of the best first-season roses I've seen. The blooms are drop-dead gorgeous and last a long time. The shades of orange are wonderful and I love the scalloped petals.

Hi, guys. I just want to give you an update on my central AC project. I finally went with the contractor that gave the most detailed estimation and also did the heat load calculation to figure out that I needed a 4T AC. I decided to go with the Carrier 24ACA3-48-A003 and CNPVP4821 for a good compromise between price and efficiency. I would not be able to recoup the extra few hundred dollars that I paid up front for the higher SEER units. The final price that I paid is $4885 (I got 5% off for paying with check instead of credit card). This also includes a nice TP-PAC18 Edge programmable thermostat. The contractor did the installation today. He put in new lines (3/8 for liquid and 7/8 for vapor) on the outside of the house going from ground up to the attic. He also had to install a couple of extra things due to the vertical seperation is more than 20'. The job is pretty nice and clean. This installation also includes Carrier extended warranty for 10yrs, part and labor, on everything. Pretty nice. I guess now I have to wait till the first hot day to see how well this work. So I prefer the second door over the first. Traditional wooden mullions fit with the second door, not the first, in my opinion. If you had mullions with the first door, the interior edges are not routed, so the mullions wouldn't be either, correct, so that would look kind of clunky to me (just straights sticks of wood with no edge detail), I don't know if I'ver ever seen it like that? And I'm wondering if that's why it's not offered. With the second door having the interior routed edge, that's also how your mullion would be, keeping it from looking awkward. I would be leery of stark white, though, just a preference, I know there are many others who love it and can make it look great for their space, I just prefer softer white. From the photos shown, I can't see a difference though. I had a hard time choosing to do mullions or not as well. Ultimately I chose not to. I got wavy glass to add extra interest and I'm pleased with my choice. I would definitely not call the second one fussy if that's your hesitation. Although mullions will make it look more traditional. If you had that second door and plain glass, I would call that maybe transitional if I had to put a label on it, still think it can be simple style depending on whatever else you use.

Here's what I can do to break it into paragraphs. Hello Folks, I had been on this website just a day and I can tell there are members who offer their input/advise/comments. That is great. I hope to get from anyone interested in helping me out. This is my concern: Culligan offers a softener and the second tank for carbon. Kinetico offers the same. Culligan price is $5,190 without reverse osmosis and Kinetico is $5,050 without reverse osmosis (RO). Kinetico's RO IS $1,490. Culligan is giving me a free reverse osmosis after learning that I can't drink RO water. Hence, I wanted to get the Alkavida Protector Plus because they offer their RO with alkaline for free with the purchase of their Protector Plus which is more expensive...cost is $6,590. I guess Alkavida is saying that their RO with alkaline is free but actually it's built in in the price of Protector Plus. I told Culligan that all RO systems are acidic because they remove the minerals of the water. I had acid reflux and drinking water from RO for the past 7 years made it worst. However, my research on Alkavida Protector Plus showed that they are not NSF/ANSI or WQA certified but their RO is. Hence Culligan offered me a free RO saying that at least I can use it for cooking and the water and ice from the fridge is clean. I thought that if I go for Culligan with the free RO, I will just get the alkaline bottled water for drinking. Having read some of the threads on water treatment about Culligan & Kinetico, I also came across the Fleck water system that is being recommended by some and much cheaper. I'm not savvy in the maintenance of the Fleck if needed and so is my husband. However the Culligan or Kinetico takes care of the maintenance although they are expensive. Besides, when I browsed the website of Fleck, they want you to tell them what size you want which I have no clue what size I need. I also don't know if the Fleck has a carbon tank like Culligan and Kinetico which I think, is important. Fleck has double tank but has no clue if one tank is for carbon. It's only me and my husband in the house and have our family visiting us during holiday long weekend. I just moved in Las Vegas which I understand has a hard water. The test of Kinetico showed that that water hardness is 633. I would indeed appreciate it very much should any of you would give me input/comments/advise which to get. Thank you all.
