Hi everyone, I am trying to decide on whether to do a farmhouse style kitchen or a craftsman style kitchen. I like both styles and cannot decide.

Things I already decided:

range will be cobalt blue (found a floor model)

I plan to cover the popcorn ceilings with painted white shiplap. like this pic

The floors will most likely be white oak.

Windows and doors will be wood stained and will have craftsman style divided lites, like this pic

What style and wood do you recommend for the cabinets? quarter sawn or rift sawn oak? or maybe natural cherry?
